- Free Professional Dance Workshop
-
We would like to offer young dancers the opportunity to work in collaboration with international artist Ricardo Basbaum to create a show for the Showroom gallery, during the course of an afternoon and evening.
The workshop will be led by professional dancers from Dance Physics to create a dance inspired by the artist’s work. The group will then perform the dance created during the workshop at a special performance event at the Showroom gallery that same evening.
The workshop is free to all participants and we will provide drinks and refreshments throughout the afternoon and evening.
This could be a great platform for young dancers for their CV to work with an international artist, respond to his work creatively and perform at The Showroom.

‘Quest was a rough, raw, hugely ambitious... not only were the individual roles all well taken, the dance company really set the stage alight’ Michael Coveney, Theatre Critic, on Street 2 Stage 2008
